We are pleased to announce the second annual Pharmacology Matters Writing Competition is now open!
This competition is for early career pharmacologists.* We’re looking for informative, entertaining and thoughtful articles on any pharmacology-related topic. For example, education, policy, drug development, basic pharmacology, clinical pharmacology or toxicology. Or whatever you think would be an interesting topic! Last year’s winner was Josh Dignam, with Of Fangs and Pharmacology: A Deadly Cure for Heart Disease.
The winning article will be published in Pharmacology Matters magazine. The winner will also receive a year’s complimentary membership to the British Pharmacological Society.
Articles should be no longer than 1000 words and aimed at the general public. Feel free to include images and figures. Any references should be added as hyperlinks in the text.
The closing date is Tuesday 12 May 2020. Please send your entry as a Word document to Kat Sole/Emma Needham EditorialPM@bps.ac.uk
If you require any further information, please contact your regional British Pharmacological Society ambassador Aisah Aubdool firstname.lastname@example.org
