History Behind the Creation of the Brazilian Women in Pharmacology Award
The Brazilian Women in Pharmacology Award was established by the SBFTE Board of Directors and Deliberative Council with the aim of promoting, recognizing and giving visibility to women who conducted scientific and/or technological research and innovation, and who contribute to the training of human resources, the dissemination of the knowledge, and entrepreneurship in the field of Pharmacology while working at institutions in Brazil. The award serves both as a tribute and an incentive to advance gender equity in access to and participation in scientific research.
